Jason Grilli has been traded to the Rockies for minor league pitcher Zach Simons so that the Tigers could make room on their roster for Francisco Cruceta, according to MLive.com.

Our View:Grilli is a servicable arm out of the pen, but his role and stuff won't allow him to be anything more than a desperation pickup in NL Only leagues.
