Our View:Cordero ends his first season in Cincinnati with 34 saves, a 3.33 ERA and 78 K in 70.1 innings. Cordero wasn't spectacular this season but he did close the year on a nice run with 14-straight save conversions.

Our View:Cordero has not blown a save since July 21st and continues to lower his ERA each and every appearance. Though he doesn't get as many opportunities as the top of the line closers, he usually closes the door when he gets a chance.
