September 10, 2008 Despite being the owner of a six-game hitting streak, and having hit in 12 of his past 14 games, Giants outfielder Randy Winn has not hit Diamondbacks hurler Dan Haren, who he faces Wednesday, very well. In his career, Winn is 4-for-29 (.138) with seven strikeouts against the Arizona right-hander.
Our View:Winn has been one of the few Giants that fantasy players have been able to count on consistently, but it may be smart to sit him for one night if you have a better option.

Our View:Winn has been his usual solid self this year, hitting .302 with 22 steals to go along with six homers, 52 RBI and 65 runs scored.
August 14, 2008 Randy Winn helped the Giants as much as he could with a 2-for-4 performance featuring a double and two RBI, but it wasn't enough as San Francisco lost 7-4 to Houston.
Our View:Winn's August batting average is now at .404. He is one of the few effective Giants for offensive purposes in fantasy baseball.
