Our View:Kennedy has requested a trade from the Cardinals, and Arizona is looking for a replacement for Orlando Hudson.

Our View:The Diamondbacks are believed to be interested in Kennedy, as they will likely lose Orlando Hudson to free agency.

Our View:The fact that Kennedy made his wish to be traded public is actually a reason for the difficulty in trading him. The Cardinals will want to get something for him if they have to eat his contract, and if other clubs know that they are desperate to deal him, they will have leverage over the Cardinals.
