Justin Morneau admitted having trouble with one of his knees late in the season but is not too concerned, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune. "My knee has been a bother," Morneau wrote in response to an e-mail question, "but that is just from the general wear and tear of playing on turf in the Dome all season. It will be looked at, but my feeling is that it is just from the long season and nothing will be done." GM Bill Smith pointed out that every Twins player had an exit physical during the final weeks of the season, and the club would have acted if it felt that Morneau's knee needed further attention. "This man played 163 games this season," Smith said. "He's going to have some aches and pains but he's a battler and would never come out of the lineup."

Our View:Morneau wouldn't say which knee was giving him problems, but it sounds like it shouldn't be of any worry to fantasy owners that have the slugger in a keeper league.

Justin Morneau is dealing with sore legs namely as he is yet to miss a start this season, according to the Star Tribune. The only other player who hasn't missed a start is Raul Ibanez of Seattle.

Our View:He is on pace to play all 162 games for the first time in his career. He missed five games in each of his last two campaigns.

Twins slugger Justin Morneau has sore legs, and he will be given an opportunity to be the DH in order to keep him fresh, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

Our View:Morneau is having a fantastic season, and fantasy players shouldn't worry too much about this, as he will continue to get at-bats. He has a very good to chance to get more than 130 RBI on the year.
September 13, 2008
Justin Morneau went 1-for-5 with two RBI in Saturday's 12-6 win over Baltimore in the second game of the doubleheader.

Our View:The Twins scored 12 runs in both wins against the Orioles tonight, with Morneau contributing two RBI in each game. Morneau ends the night with 124 RBI for the season, and needs six more to tie his season-high of 130 (2006).
September 13, 2008
