Jeff Francoeur doesn't appear to be behind despite seeing limited action in the World Baseball Classic, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. He went 3-for-3 with a homer and five RBI Saturday in a split-squad game, the first exhibition game for Francoeur this spring.

Jeff Francoeur has had just three at-bats in the World Baseball Classic over a period where he likely would have been to the plate 35 or so times in spring training, but the Braves don't appear too concerned, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "Just three at-bats aren't what you'd like," Cox said. "I thought he would get to play more. But I expect him to be fine, I really do. . . When he gets back, I'll just play him almost every day and for the whole game. When we can, we'll use him as the DH to get more at-bats."
