July 13, 2007 As expected, the Rangers sent Victor Diaz down to Triple-A Oklahoma Friday to make room on the roster for Mark Teixeira. Diaz hit just .240 but did have nine homers and 25 RBI in 104 at-bats with Texas.

May 1, 2007 Texas recalled Victor Diaz from Triple-A Oklahoma on Tuesday to take Frank Catalanotto's roster spot, according to the AP. Diaz was leading the RedHawks with a .356 average, three home runs and 28 RBI. He started at DH for the Rangers in Tuesday night's game against the Yankees.
