Our View:Clark only registered eight brief at-bats with the Twins this season, with two hits, and held no fantasy value.

To make room for Fernando Tatis on the roster, the Orioles optioned Howie Clark to Triple-A Ottawa on Friday, according to the AP. Called up on June 17, Clark went 1-for-7 during his stint with Baltimore.

The Orioles purchased the contract of Howie Clark from Triple-A Ottawa before Friday's game, according to the Baltimore Sun. Clark was hitting .275 with two homers and 12 RBI for Ottawa and replaces John Halama, who was designated for assignment, on the Orioles' roster.
