Wil Nieves was recalled to the majors because of the injury to the hand of Paul Lo Duca, this according to the AP. To make room for Nieves, Chris Schroder was sent to Columbus.

Our View:The weather will likely be cold for the Nationals the rest of the week, and they want to make sure they have a solid option to back up Johnny Estrada if Lo Duca isn't able to play.
