Our View:He reaggravated a left shoulder injury while diving for a ground ball on Saturday. He will only be available to run, but will be facing unfavorable field conditions as it continues to rain at Shea. Rookie Cameron Maybin will lead off and roam center field and Alfredo Amezaga will start at short.
September 26, 2008 Hanley Ramirez went 4-for-5 with three runs scored in Friday's 6-1 win over the Mets. All three of his hits were singles. he also stole a pair of bases, giving him 35 for the season.
Our View:He raised his average from .298 to .302, and tied his season-high with 125 runs scored.
September 24, 2008 Hanley Ramirez hit his 33rd home run of the season off of Tim Redding on Wednesday night in the first at bat of the game. He finished the evening 3-for-5 with two runs and an RBI.
Our View:The 33 home runs is a career-high for Ramirez. He continues to solidify himself as an absolute fantasy stud from the leadoff position but he may get more RBI opportunities in 2009 if Cameron Maybin proves a legitimate leadoff option.

Our View:He missed four games with a strained left shoulder, and hopefully he will fare better the rest of the week, assuming he plays. Manager Fredi Gonzalez deemed him healthy enough to return to the lineup, but Ramirez was clearly rusty.
