Our View:Nix shouldn't see much action unless Ryan Braun lands on the DL with his ribcage injury. In that case, Nix would platoon with Gabe Kapler in left field.
June 23, 2008 Brewers' minor league outfielder Laynce Nix has been arrested on Saturday on suspicion of drunk driving, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. He claimed his innocence and said, "I was charged with this, but everything is pending. I passed the field sobriety tests and no way was I impaired."
Our View:Nix was batting .267 with 10 homers and 35 RBI with Triple-A Nashville, and did not make an appearance with Milwaukee.
March 23, 2008 Laynce Nix will being the season on the farm. His fate was sealed when the team moved Ryan Braun from third base to the outfield, a crowded outfield, even with Mike Cameron serving a 25-game suspension.
Nix has no fantasy value as long as he is playing for the Brewers.

April 21, 2007 Laynce Nix is close to beginning a rehab assignment, as he continues to recover from a strained right oblique, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. "I think he's going to (Single-A) Brevard County in the next few days," general manager Doug Melvin said. "Those oblique muscles are hard to come back from, especially when you're swinging." Nix likely will join Triple-A Nashville once the assignment is completed.
