Despite this strong work his ERA is still 6.20, and with a K/BB ratio of 1.50, you would be wise to avoid running to the waiver-wire to add him to your staff.

Our View:Nippert will be making his second spot start of the season, this time against the Angels. The team is hopeful Padilla can return for his next start against Seattle, and Nippert is not worth acquiring as a fantasy hurler, especially with a 5.56 ERA and dreadful 2.02 WHIP over 43.2 innings.

Our View:Nippert has bounced up and down all season long, but each of his last five outings lave lasted just four innings. He has been highly inconsistent and seems to be struggling to halt the home run.
