Coming into the season,Joel Hanrahan was the Nationals long reliever and didn't expect to see much action. Fast forward to the end of the season and Hanrahan is in the middle of it all as the Nats closer. After closer Chad Cordero was lost for the year and Jon Rauch was traded, Hanrahan was inserted into the ninth inning, according to MLB.com
