Our View:Medders isn't a superstar by any means, but we imagine a lot of teams will take a look and possibly pluck him away from the D'Backs.
March 29, 2008 Brandon Medders has secured a spot in the Diamondbacks bullpen, according to the Arizona Republic. Medders had a solid spring, sans one poor outing, and carried a 4.30 ERA and 1.57 WHIP with 23 strikeouts in 29.1 IP last season.

"Right now, I think he maybe needs a break from those games so he can iron some things out and get his confidence back," Melvin said. "He'll make a couple of good pitches, then every mistake that he makes they'll hit out of the ballpark. He's going to have to work through it."
