Ricky Nolasco lost his first decision since August 8 but pitched well against the Mets on Saturday. He had 10 strikeouts in seven innings while allowing five hits and two earned runs.

Our View:Nolasco came into his own this season. He finishes the year 15-8 with 186 strikeouts and a 3.55 ERA.

Ricky Nolasco issued three earned runs on six hits over six innings in Monday's 7-5 loss to the Reds at the Great American Ballpark, with one walk and five strikeouts.

Our View:He was dealt a no decision and his record remains at 15-7. He has not lost a decision since August 8 (against the Mets), and has allowed three or less earned runs in 11 straight outings.

Ricky Nolasco earned his 15th victory of the year as he shut down the Astros in Florida on Wednesday. Houston managed two solo home runs of the young righty but those were the only runs they would score.

Our View:Nolasco continues a rather remarkable year and one that was not expected. On top of the wins, he also has 171 strikeouts in 199.1 innings pitched.

Ricky Nolasco had eight strikeouts while tossing 7.2 innings against the Phillies on Wednesday in his 14th victory of the season. Noalsco walked only one while allowing three runners to cross the plate.

Our View:Nolasco has been simply amazing this year as one of the waiver-wire pickups of the season. Besides the 14 wins, Nolasco owns a 3.56 ERA and a 1.12 WHIP marking him as one of the top-10 starters in the National League thanks in part to a run of 9-straight quality starts.

Florida's Ricky Nolasco won his 13th game of the season by pitching 7.1 innings of three-hit ball against the Diamondbacks, allowing two runs and striking out ten in the team's 5-2 win over Arizona.

Our View:Nolasco has had a great year, displaying great control with the ability to make people swing and miss. Remember his name when fantasy season rolls around next year.
