Chris Young went 3-for-5 with a grand slam in Saturday's win over the Astros. His other two hits were singles. Young is hitting .286-4-19-17-4 in 27 games since the All-Star break.
Our View:Young turned his bat (and legs) up a few notches after the All-Star break in 2007, and he is doing it again this year... to a smaller degree. He has lost a lot of fantasy value this season.

Chris Young went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and RBI as the Diamondbacks beat the Braves 6-1.
Our View:Young is a popular fantasy player because he can steal a base and has 15 home runs and 56 RBI. But that average and OBP is just brutal, and it is only getting worse in August, where his OBP is .231.

Chris Young went 0-for-4 in the Diamondbacks 6-4 loss to Atlanta on Thursday. He ran his August batting average to .185.
Our View:Young has been a disappointment to fantasy owners this season, and has not improved like many thought he would. There is still time, but it's tough to put a guy with a sub-.300 on-base percentage on fantasy rosters.

There were more hits than the score might indicate, but the Diamondbacks pulled out the 3-1 win with a little help from outfielder Chris Young . Young went 1-for-4 at the plate with his 15th home run of the season, good for two RBIs and one run scored on the night.
Our View:Young hasn't been too impressive at the plate this season, but he has gone 4-for-8 with one triple, one homer, and two RBIs over the last two games against Pittsburgh.

Chris Young has never been able to overcome Chris Young. That is not a philosophical statement, just a reflection of the fact that the Arizona outfielder is 0-for-12 in his career against the Padres pitcher of the same name who he is facing tonight.
Our View:Young is coming off a 3-for-5 night, so fantasy owners are likely hesitant to remove him from the lineup, but not only has Young not had a hit in 12 at-bats off his counterpart, he has struck out six times against him.
