Our View:The 23-year-old held a poor 6.00 ERA and 1.83 WHIP over 12 innings with the Phillies this season.
August 28, 2008 Fabio Castro has been recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley, according to the AP. Right-hander Andrew Carpenter was returned to Double-A Reading as the adjoining move.
Our View:Castro pitched in four games for the Rangers back in 2006 before he was traded to the Phillies in late June. He will work out of the bullpen, and will hold little fantasy value in leagues that use middle men.
