Pat Misch has been recalled from Triple-A Fresno, according to the SF Chronicle.

Our View:Misch went 0-3 over 47 innings with the Giants this season (made seven starts), but held a passable 1.40 WHIP. He still shouldn't be considered for fantasy rosters.

The San Francisco Giants are set to do battle with the San Diego Padres today, giving LHP Patrick Misch the start in hopes that he will find his first major league victory, according to the Sports Network.

Our View:Misch has nine starts with 16 trips out of the bullpen over his career with the Giants, making five starts with one outing in relief since joining the team in late April after starting in Triple-A. Through those starts, Misch carries a 6.54 ERA and has allowed a worrisome 10 home runs along the way. In Sunday's 8-6 loss to Florida, Misch gave up three dingers and allowed seven runs through just 4 1/3 innings.
May 19, 2008
Patrick Misch had a decent start on Monday night as he held the Rockies to three runs over 5.1 innings for the Giants. Misch surrendered five hits and two walks in the no-decision.

Our View:Kevin Correia is progressing well in his comeback from injury, but it would appear that Misch should still have at least a couple of more starts to make his mark with the G-men.
May 15, 2008
The Giants suffered the 6-3 loss to Houston this evening, but starter RHP Patrick Misch was not to blame following a strong six innings, giving up three runs (all earned) on seven hits with no walks and six strikeouts.

Our View:Misch walked out with the no-decision, his fourth such result in as many starts. However, he also touts just six walks versus 18 strike outs.
May 10, 2008
Patrick Misch didn't factor into the Giants Friday night loss to the Phillies. The lefty allowed four runs on six hits, walked three and struck out for in six innings of work.

Our View:Misch, making his second start of the year, missed another chance to pick up his first major league victory in his sixth career start.
