Newsbreakers
September 13, 2008
Joe Inglett went 1-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 7-5 loss to Boston in the bottom half of the doubleheader. His hit was a double and marked the Jays' only extra base hit in the game.

Our View:Inglett has a four-game hitting streak, and raised his season average to .302. He is hitting well right now, but is not quite productive enough to consider for fantasy lineups.
August 9, 2008
Joe Inglett went 3-for-4 and scored a run for Toronto in their 4-2 loss to Cleveland. Inglett led off the first inning with a triple.

Our View:Inglett has been solid, but doesn't do quite enough to be a viable fantasy option.
August 5, 2008
Joe Inglett continues to deal with a sore left knee and is out of the lineup again on Tuesday. "Joe's still a little sore, but feeling better," manager Cito Gaston tells MLB.com. "We don't know anything as far as how long [he'll be sidelined], but I understand -- from the trainers -- that he's feeling a lot better today."

Our View:If you need any indication about how the season has gone for the Blue Jays, this story fits the bill. The club actually misses this utility man quite a bit.
July 30, 2008
Joe Inglett went 3-for-5 in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Rays. All three hits were singles.

Our View:Inglett has recorded three hits in two of his last four games, and raised his season average to .293. He is worth a look right now if you need help in your middle infield in AL-only leagues.
June 28, 2008
After hitting a two-out grand slam that highlighted a Jays rally last week, Joe Inglett hit a two-run, two-out single as part of a four-run sixth and the Blue Jays hung on to beat the Atlanta Braves, 9-5, in the second of a three-game interleague set at the Rogers Centre.

Our View:Inglett went 2-for-5 on Saturday. The utility option is hitting .315 with two home runs, 16 RBI, 12 runs scored and has two stolen bases.
