Our View:Um, did the Orioles think about handing him a pair of glasses? It worked for Rick Vaughn. Burres pitched well last April before blowing up. We don't believe blurry vision was his only issue.

Our View:This was a great start for Burres, who had otherwise been miserable in the role. Though the outing knocked his ERA under 6.00 for the year, he cannot be expected to duplicate this performance in the season's final weeks.
