September 15, 2006 The Giants purchased the contract of Billy Sadler from Triple-A Fresno Thursday. Sadler held a combined 2.43 ERA with 79 strikeouts in 55 2/3 innings for Fresno and Double-A Connecticut. He will work out of the Giants bullpen.
