Matt Harrison, and his 5.49 ERA, improved to 9-3 in 2008. He has gotten the decision in 12 of 15 starts but more impressive than that is the amount of run support that his teammates have provided.

Our View:His previous two starts included a complete game shutout and a home-run-an-inning smashing dealt to him by the Angels. Clearly, he has consistency issues, but he will still likely make a run at cracking the Rangers' rotation in 2009.

Matt Harrison will make a start for the Rangers on Wednesday after throwing in the bullpen on Monday, according to the Star Telegram. The club also announced that Scott Feldman will start on Saturday.

Our View:The club is setting up it's starting rotation for the final week. Harrison, and Feldman for that matter, are only recommended for those in AL-only leagues and only if you are in desperate need of a win.

Matt Harrison tossed an impropable complete game shutout against the light-hitting Oakland A's on Friday night. He scattered five hits and four walks on the way to completing the best start of his career.

Our View:Harrison entered the game with a 5.76 ERA but he has now won six of his last seven to salvage what looked like a dreadful year. Previous victories could be chalked up to uncanny Rangers run support, but he earned his victory on Friday.

Matt Harrison won a pitching duel against Brian Bannister and the Rangers completed a sweep of the Royals with a 3-2 victory at Kauffman Stadium on Wednesday night, according to MLB.com. Harrison went 6 2/3 innings and allowed two runs (both earned) on seven hits with two walks and four strikeouts, raising his record to 6-3 with a 5.67 ERA.

Our View:The rookie is enjoyed a productive campaign, he is 4-1 this month and has allowed just two homers during that span.

Matt Harrison posted easily the best performance of his young career on Saturday night. The southpaw celebrated his 23rd birthday by tossing eight shutout innings against the Rays. He allowed three hits, walked none, and struck out eight. Harrison improved to 5-2.

Our View:Fantasy owners will buy Harrison a bunch of cakes if he treats every outing like it's his birthday. He hadn't been impressive in seven starts leading up to this gem, and fantasy owners should wait at least one more start before thinking about him.
