Our View:Waters saw his ERA balloon to 5.06 and the 10 runners he allowed didn't do anything for his WHIP (1.50). With his soft tossing game, Waters needs to have pinpoint control to enjoy success; tonight he didn't have it.
September 16, 2008 Chris Waters twirled a gem Tuesday, tossing a complete game shutout in a 2-0 win over Toronto. He allowed just four hits and two walks while striking out three.
Our View:Waters pitched eight shutout frames in his first major league start, but his seven starts in between these outing have ranged from ordinary to horrible. Despite this stellar effort, he's not someone you can rely on consistently in fantasy.

Our View:With the loss Waters dropped to 2-3 and should only be considered in deep AL-only leagues.
August 29, 2008 Chris Waters has been moved up one day in the Orioles' rotation as he will cover Daniel Cabrera's scheduled start for Saturday, according to the Baltimore Sun. Cabrera is serving a six-game suspension for throwing at Alex Rodriguez of the Yankees. Brian Burres will follow Waters on Sunday.
Our View:Moving up a day will not change the opponent as he is still going to face the Rays. He has been inconsistent over his five starts and only merits consideration in deeper AL-only leagues.
August 25, 2008 Chris Waters took the loss for the first time this season, though he threw well in the Orioles 4-3 defeat at the hand of the White Sox. Waters went seven innings, surrendering three earned runs on five hits.
Our View:Waters now owns an ERA of 4.71, and isn't much of a fantasy prospect, despite the decent record.
