Our View:Smith will be in uniform for Wednesday night's game against the Brewers, originally sent down when the Rockies called up infielder Jayson Nix on Tuesday, but he didn't even board a plane before Colorado called on him again due to the injury suffered by Ryan Spilborghs.

May 25, 2008 The Rockies may have pulled the 4-1 win over the Mets today, but they didn't do a ton of hitting to get the job done. Outfielder Seth Smith was the top man of the day, going 1-for-2 with one walk at the dish with his first home run of the season, good for three of the four runs scored by Colorado on the day.
Our View:This was Smith second game of the season, failing to get a hit in four plate appearances the day before.
