May 22, 2008
Eulogio De la Cruz came just one out away from throwing a complete game for Triple-A Albuquerque on Wednesday while allowing two unearned runs on five hits. He walked one and struck out four.

Our View:De la Cruz needs more attention, so we’re giving it to him. He now has a 4.35 ERA and six wins in a hitter-friendly ballpark, and he has been on fire since struggling in his first two starts of the season. It is looking more and more like he will see the majors at some point this season, so NL-only owners may want to stash him.
