On Friday, the Marlins recalled Scott Tyler from Double-A Carolina to replace the injured Sergio Mitre on their roster, according to the Sun-Sentinel. He had a 5.29 ERA and 2.35 WHIP in 5.1 innings pitched there and could be sent back down as soon as Sunday.
