Our View:Dillard could not record three outs with a 9-1 lead in the ninth on Thursday, as he allowed four earned runs over 2/3 of an inning, which led to today's demotion.
May 23, 2008 The Brewers promoted reliever Tim Dillard on Friday, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports. Dillard, 24, owned a 3-0 record and 2.01 ERA over 31.1 innings of relief at Triple-A Nashville.
Our View:Dillard will work in long relief, and he's presumably the extra arm the Brewers need to take Eric Gagne's roster spot. There's no fantasy value here.
