The Phillies have called up outfielder Gregory Golson, catcher Lou Marson, and pitchers Adam Eaton and J.A. Happ, MLB.com reports.

Our View:If the Phillies weren't in a heated race, Golson and Marson would be more interesting to fantasy leaguers. Neither prospect is likely to get many starts while the team is in contention. Happ is likely to work in long relief, as is the veteran Eaton.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that five Phillies prospects have been named to the All-Star Futures Game. Outfielder Gregory Golson, catcher Lou Marson, and infielder Jason Donald are on the U.S. team. Righthander Carlos Carrasco and lefthander Antonio Bastardo were named to the World team.

Our View:The Futures game will be held at Yankee Stadium on July 13.

Greg Golson hit his second home run of the season on Tuesday. He is now batting .329-2-14 with seven steals at Double-A Reading.

Our View:There may not be a better all-around athlete in the minors than Golson, but he is still extremely raw. Still, Golson has made strides compared to his stay in Reading last season, improving his BB/K ratio to 6/22 from 2/49 last year. It would be hard to believe if Golson never made it to the majors, but he still has a long way to go in order to be considered a future regular.
