Our View:Wells pitched fairly well in limited relief work, with a 3.60 ERA in five innings. His fantasy value was nil.
July 10, 2008 Pitcher Jared Wells was called up when Erik Bedard was placed on the 15-day DL, according to Mariners.com.
Our View:Wells joined the Seattle organization in a May trade, and had a 4.41 ERA and six saves in Triple-A Tacoma. He does not have fantasy value at this point.
May 28, 2008 Jared Wells is headed north to Tacoma. The Padres reliever will be traded to the Mariners for pitcher Cha Seung Baek on Wednesday, the Seattle Times reports.
