July 22, 2008 Mitch Stetter has been sent back to Triple-A Nashville after just two days.
Our View:Stetter could be recalled soon as he is one of the more reliable pitchers in the Brewers' bullpen. In 22.2 innings with 29 strikeouts with a 2.78 ERA.
June 20, 2008 Lefty hurler Mitch Stetter has been recalled from Triple-A Nashville, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. The team optioned Tim Dillard as a corresponding move.
Our View:Stetter had an earlier stint with the Brewers and performed well at the beginning, but eventually lost his control, while walking eight of 12 batters he faced before being sent down to Nashville. He is one of two lefties in the pen (Brian Shouse is the other), and the team is hopeful he has worked out his control issues during his time in Nashville. He still does not merit fantasy consideration, however.
May 16, 2008 The Brewers optioned Mitch Stetter to Triple-A Nashville Friday, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Stetter's wildness cost him his job, as he issued eight walks over his last three outings. Zach Jackson was recalled to replace him.
Our View:Stetter holds a 3.09 ERA and 12.34 K/9 rate on the season, so he's been able to limit the damage for the most part, but apparently the Brewers want to send him out before he blows up.
April 18, 2008 The Brewers called up reliever Mitch Stetter following Thursday's game against the Cardinals, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports. Infielder/outfielder Hernan Iribarren was sent back to Triple-A.
Our View:The southpaw could only be up for a couple games, as the Brewers plan to activate Yovani Gallardo on Sunday.
