Our View:The left-handed-hitting Bernadina is considered one of the Nationals' top hitting prospects. In 2008, he hit .334 with nine home runs and 54 RBIs for Double-A Harrisburg and Triple-A Columbus.

Outfielder Roger Bernadina has been recalled from Double-A Harrisburg, according to the Sports Network. He will fill the roster spot for Lastings Milledge, who has been placed on the DL with a groin ailment.

Our View:Bernadina was hitting .325 with five home runs, seven triples, 26 stolen bases and 38 RBI for Harrisburg prior to his promotion to the Nationals. He will be making his major league debut, and could be given a shot to roam center field while Milledge is away.
