Our View:On the day Cunningham went 2-for-5 with three RBI and is now batting .304 for the A's. Its tough to know what the A's will do with their bevy of youngsters, but Cunningham is trying to prove that he belongs in the big leagues next season.
August 31, 2008 Aaron Cunningham made his major league debut on Sunday, and it was a memorable one. He went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI against the Twins.
Our View:Cunningham posted excellent numbers at both Double-A and Triple-A this year, and we hope the A's give him regular starts in September. He may be worth a flier in AL-only formats.
August 30, 2008 Aaron Cunningham has been recalled from Triple-A Sacramento, according to the AP.
Our View:The 22-year-old outfielder was part of the trade that shipped Dan Haren to Arizona. He hit .329 with 17 homers and 66 RBI combined between Midland and Sacramento this season. He could get an extended look in the A's outfield over the final month of the season, and is worth consideration in deeper AL-only leagues as a flier.
May 10, 2008 Aaron Cunningham went 2-for-3 with his first home run of the season for Double-A Midland on Friday.
Our View:Cunningham, acquired by Oakland in the Dan Haren trade, missed the first month of the season due to injury. He is a well-rounded offensive prospect, as he hit .288-16-77 with 28 steals last season. He is off to a similarly solid start this season.
