September 25, 2008 Micah Hoffpauir hit his first and second career home runs against the Mets on Thursday night. He started in place of Derrek Lee and batted third. He also added a double and finished the night with five RBI and two runs scored. The Cubs lost 7-6 in the bottom of the ninth.

Our View:Hoffpauir had a ridiculous season at Triple-A, as in just 71 games he hit .362 with 25 home runs and 100 RBI. He had a decent year in the big leagues as well, but at age 28, he can no longer be considered a prospect.
