Our View:Robertson held a 6.31 ERA in a couple stints earlier this year with the Yanks.
August 28, 2008 One pitch to Dustin Perdoia cost David Robertson his spot in the majors for now. Robertson gave up a grand slam to Pedroia in last night's game versus the Red Sox and according to Yankees.com he was sent back to Triple-A after the game.
Our View:With Robertson being sent down the Yankees purchased the contract of Alfredo Aceves.

Our View:Robertson may become a good candidate for holds in the second half. To this point he looks like one of the more reliable arms in the Yankees bullpen. He has 12 strikeouts in nine innings.
June 28, 2008 Updating and earlier report that David Robertson was dressed at Shea Stadium before this afternoon's game against the Mets was accurate. The Yankees purchasd Robertson's contract from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
Our View:New York also optioned lefty Kei Igawa back to Triple-A, one day after he was called up. Igawa pitched one scoreless inning in Friday's double-header. Skipper Joe Girardi is keeping fresh arms in the bullpen and moving players back and forth from Scranton will be a regular routine for the rest of the summer.
June 28, 2008 Reports are circulating that have RHP David Robertson in the park and dressed for action in support of the Yankees efforts against the Mets today, clearly indicating the team has called up the young hurling prospect from Triple-A Scranton-Wilkes Barre.
