Carmelo Anthony has decided not to appeal his 15-game suspension for his role in last weekend's brawl, the AP reports. Anthony was originally scheduled to return to the Nuggets lineup Jan. 20 at Houston. But a blizzard that postponed Denver's Wednesday game with Phoenix, might push back Anthony's return to a Jan. 22 home game against Memphis.

Carmelo Anthony and the other nine players were ejected for fighting during a wild brawl between the Nuggets and Knicks Saturday night, according to the AP. Anthony threw a punch at New York's Mardy Collins, and now awaits what will surely be strong punishment from a league. NBA Spokesman Tim Frank said the league would "review the incident in its entirety. Until then, it would not be appropriate to comment."

"The referees have new edicts, we have to figure it out," Nuggets coach George Karl told the Denver Post. "We lost a game we probably would have won with Melo."
