Our View:The 37-year-old Houston has not played since the 2004-05 season and was hoping to make a comeback this year, but has not played in the preseason due to a sore quadriceps. Now, it appears as though he will land in the front office.

Our View:He has been sidelined as of late with a right quadriceps injury, but his knees feel fine, and the Knicks are seemingly being patient with him. This is encouraging news for him, but it remains to be seen if the 37-year-old can keep up in coach Mike D'Antoni's fast-paced offense.
