Our View:This figures to be a big start for Gray who has played well in the preseason but has not certified his spot in Vinny Del Negro's rotation. He is Chicago's only seven-footer and pulled down 22 rebounds in his only start from last season.
October 9, 2008 Center Aaron Gray finished the Bulls preseason opener with 14 points, nine rebounds, and two blocks off of the bench as the Bulls fell to the Mavericks.
Our View:Gray is the biggest player on the Bulls and may be their best center. Drew Gooden and Tyrus Thomas started in the post on Thursday, but don't be surprised to see Gray earn significant playing time with a good preseason.
April 16, 2008 With the playoffs well out of reach and the end of another disappointing season fast approaching, Chicago rookie center Aaron Gray earned 35 minutes of playing time and made the best of them all. Gray shot just 5-of-13 from the floor, but he was a perfect 9-of-9 from the charity stripe to score 19 points, adding an outstanding 22 rebounds to the stat line.
Our View:Don't get too excited. Gray may get more playing time next year (the Bulls could definitely use the rebounding), but his worrisome offensive skills are a prohibitive factor to his future in the NBA.
