Our View:Iverson will likely return to practice later in the week. Given that he played almost 42 minutes a game last season, he could certainly benefit from a reduced workload in the preseason so this really isn't anything to be concerned about.

The Nuggets suffered another devastating loss (107-122) and are now down 2-0 in the series, but guard Allen Iverson is doing what he can to stop the bleeding. Iverson shot 10-for-21 from the field, 1-of-6 from three-point range, and 10-of-13 from the free-throw line to score 31 points in the loss.

Our View:Iverson had just six assists on the evening, but that's not his fault, for his teammates are falling apart and struggling to support the cause. If the next two games are filled with this much from one man and this little from the others, the Nuggets will fall in four.
April 20, 2008
Allen Iverson had 30 points before picking up two technical fouls with 2:10 remaining in the Game 1 loss to the Lakers, calling for his immediate ejection.

Our View:The Big Two (Iverson and Carmelo Anthony) did their jobs offensively, but on the defensive end of the court both players did little to help the the team objective.

Allen Iverson continues to play with a broken right ring finger, according to the Denver Post. He had this to say about his injury, "Sometimes it feels better, sometimes it hurts worse. It's just something I'll have to deal with. Knowing what's at stake in the playoff push, that's what helped me deal with it a lot better."

Allen Iverson scored 28 points on 9-for-16 shooting, but he had only two rebounds, two assists and five turnovers as the Nuggets were killed by the Jazz 124-97.

Our View:Iverson continues to do his thing which consists of a lot of scoring with solid production in most categories, and though he turned the ball over too often tonight, he is averaging 3.0 turnovers per game this season which would be a career low total.

The Answer, aka Allen Iverson , helped his Denver Nuggets avenge last night's loss to Phoenix with a 126-120 win at the homestead this evening. Iverson shot 9-of-18 from the field and a perfect 11-of-11 from the charity stripe to score 31 points. His other stats suffered, posting just three assists and two steals, but without the surge from Iverson, the Nuggets would have fallen short and, more importantly, fallen off the pace for the 8th and final spot in the Western Conference playoffs.
March 29, 2008
Allen Iverson suffered through a rough statistical night despite Denver’s 119-112 victory over Golden State, a win that puts the Nuggets into the 8th and final spot in the Western Conference Playoffs. Iverson went just 4-of-20 from the field, 1-of-5 from the three-point line, and 5-of-6 from the free-throw line, scoring 14 points with 8 assists, seven rebounds, and two steals. This was Iverson’s second-lowest point total in three months, and while there is little reason for concern, it is one game fantasy owners are sure to count as a frustration.

Allen Iverson led the Nuggets with 26 points and nine assists on Friday night in their 125-114 victory over the Nets. So much for the injured finger keeping Iverson from scoring as he has gone for at least 20 points in each of the past five games. Iverson will be heavily involved the rest of the way as the Nuggets scratch and claw their way toward the 8th spot in the West.

Allen Iverson, playing with a broken finger on his right hand, was able to score 28 points on Monday night. Iverson was 9-for-22 from the field, including 3-for-6 on three's, so it doesn't appear that the broken bone effected his shooting much at all. He did have only one steal, perhaps he was afraid to thrust his hand into a dangerous spot.
March 10, 2008
Allen Iverson has a a small, non-displaced fracture near the tip of his right ring finger, this according to the AP. Despite the injury, Iverson will continue to play on as the Nuggets need everything they can get from their leader to remain in the playoff race. Allen Iverson scored a game-high 28 points on Monday night but it wasn't enough as the Nuggets fell 98-93 to the Pistons. Iverson was 12-for-13 from the line, but as usual he shooting from the field was less than ideal as he made just 7 of 19 shots. Iverson has scored at least 20 points in 14 of his last 16 games so you know he will take just as many shots as he needs to "get his."
