James Posey continued to give the Hornets a boost off of the bench on Friday, by putting up 14 points, four rebounds, a block, an assist, and a steal.

Our View:Posey has easily been the Hornets' best bench player this year and will probably continue to see about 30 minutes per game for them.

James Posey played 29 minutes off of the bench as New Orleans beat Cleveland 104-92 on Saturday night. He finished the game with 15 points, six rebounds, four assists, four threes and two assists.

Our View:Posey is playing 27.3 minutes per game to start the season and he's averaging 13 points and doing a little bit of everything else. He has 10 treys through three games.

Coach Byron Scott said Saturday that James Posey will earn most of his minutes this year at the backup power forward spot, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. "Obviously on offense we can spread people out, it's a little bit smaller, quicker and better defensively,'' Scott said. "You really have a few ballhandlers out there, and Posey can play against most any fours (power forwards) and they are going have to guard him. It gives us a good leader out there with Pose. He gets after guys defending them every single play. That is what I think is our best lineup so far.''

Our View:We like Scott's decision from a basketball standpoint, but this hurts Posey's fantasy value, as he will be hoisting fewer three-pointers as a power forward.
