October 19, 2008 Anthony Carter led all Nuggets scorers with 17 as Denver fell 107-111 to Minnesota on Sunday night. He also had seven assists, three rebounds, a steal and one turnover.
Our View:A.C. should start at point guard in Denver this season making him a solid source of assists. He should be available in late rounds as he doesn't figure to contribute very much in other categories.
September 27, 2008 The Rocky Mountain News reports that Anthony Carter and J.R. Smith will battle it out for the other guard spot opposite Allen Iverson according to George Karl.
Our View:Carter is the only healthy true point guard on the roster but he is on the downside of his journeyman's career. Keep an eye on the preseason battle. If Carter wins the job, expect a healthy amount of steals and assists from him.
July 9, 2008 The Denver Post reports that Anthony Carter and his management team decided the guard will re-join the Nuggets next season. Carter will sign for the league minimum of $1.2 million.
Our View:The free agent, who turned 33 last month, has targeted a spot with the Nuggets for most of the offseason, but he wanted to see if any other organizations would show interest.
