Our View:As part of the deal, the Nuggets have agreed to trade their first-round pick in the 2009 draft in exchange for Oklahoma City's second-round pick.

Our View:Atkins would like to leave Denver as he is only playing 8.3 minutes per game. The Nuggets covet a big man, and are keeping tabs on the Thunder's Chris Wilcox, Joe Smith and Nick Collison.
