Al Horford, F Wednesday 11/19, 10:57 AM CT
Al Horford is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Wizards due to a sprained right ankle, according to the Sports Network.

Our View: Horford is averaging 9.6 points, 8.1 boards, and 1.7 blocks per game this season. The team is yet to determine whether he can play tonight.
Al Horford, F Wednesday 11/19, 6:57 PM CT
Updating an earlier report, Al Horford will miss Wednesday's game with a sprained right ankle, according to the Associated Press.

Our View: Horford will probably be day-to-day for a while, so we'll keep you updated on his status.
Marvin Williams, G Wednesday 11/19, 8:35 PM CT
Marvin Williams had a big night on Wednesday to follow an average one, picking up 21 points, 14 rebounds, four assists, two steals, and one block.

Our View: Williams is one of many reasons the Hawks ended their four-game skid on Wednesday. He could be a big reason for their success if he keeps this up the rest of the year.
Mike Bibby, G Wednesday 11/19, 8:40 PM CT
Mike Bibby scored in double figures for the eighth straight game on Wednesday, finishing with 25 points, six rebounds, three assists, and a steal.

Our View: Bibby has resurfaced as a solid guard in fantasy. Keep him in your lineup.
Al Horford, F Tuesday 11/18, 6:42 PM CT
Al Horford left Tuesday's game with an ankle injury, according to the Associated Press. His return is questionable.

Our View: We should know more on Horford's injury after the game and tomorrow. We'll keep you updated.
Joe Johnson, G Tuesday 11/18, 8:40 PM CT
Joe Johnson's strong effort still hasn't put a stop to the Hawks' current four-game losing streak. He put up 25 points, seven rebounds, two assists, a steal, and a block on Tuesday, but to no avail as the Hawks fell 113-96 to the Pacers.

Our View: Regardless of what the Hawks are doing in the standings, Johnson continues to help fantasy owners night in and night out.
Marvin Williams, G Tuesday 11/18, 8:42 PM CT
Marvin Williams scored 14 for Atlanta on Tuesday. He also finished with four rebounds, two assists, and a steal.

Our View: Williams is owned in most fantasy leagues and continues to provide points and rebounds.
Josh Smith, F Sunday 11/16, 10:35 AM CT
Josh Smith (ankle) is now in a walking boot, but there is no clear-cut timetable for his return, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Our View: The initial timetable was 2-4 weeks, but he is hoping to return sooner.
Joe Johnson, G Saturday 11/15, 9:09 PM CT
Joe Johnson continued his scoring spree on Saturday, putting up 31 points for the Hawks. However, Atlanta still lost their third straight after starting 6-0 by a score of 119-107 to the Nets. Johnson also notched two rebounds, five assists, and four steals on Saturday.

Our View: Johnson certainly can't be faulted for the current losing streak, as he's scored 28 or more in each contest.
Marvin Williams, G Saturday 11/15, 9:15 PM CT
Marvin Williams had a decent effort for the Hawks on Saturday, finishing with 14 points and six rebounds.

Our View: These are both slightly above Williams' averages, but he isn't a great fantasy option at this point. He's available in about a quarter of leagues if you need some extra scoring or rebounding off of your bench.
Zaza Pachulia, F Friday 11/14, 10:59 AM CT
Zaza Pachulia is questionable for Friday's game due to his strained left shoulder, according to the Sports Network.

Our View: Pachulia has been a favorable contributor while averaging six ponts and 5.6 boards per game, but holds little fantasy value.
Joe Johnson, G Friday 11/14, 9:51 PM CT
Joe Johnson put up 32 more points for the Hawks on Friday in a losing effort. He also added nine rebounds, five assists, and two steals as the Nets dropped the Hawks 115-108.

Our View: Johnson has been a major reason for the Hawks fast start and should be in your lineup every night.
Ronald Murray, G Friday 11/14, 9:54 PM CT
Ronald Murray came off the bench with 21 points for the Hawks on Friday. He also contributed three rebounds, four assists, and a steal in 37 minutes.

Our View: Murray doesn't have a ton of fantasy value because he mainly contributes just points, and is only averaging 11.6 per game.
Josh Smith, F Thursday 11/13, 8:48 AM CT
The sprained ankle that Josh Smith is suffering from has gotten better, and the swelling has gone down recently, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Our View: The initial prognosis was that Smith would miss somewhere from two weeks to a month, but it's not out of the realm of possibility that he could be back a little sooner.
Joe Johnson, G Wednesday 11/12, 9:47 PM CT
Joe Johnson kept it close for the Hawks on Wednesday as they fell in Boston 103-102. He finished with 28 points, seven assists, four rebounds and two steals. He shot 9-for-23 from the field with two three-pointers.

Our View: Johnson has not shot well in recent games but his production remains high. He could very likely finish in the Top 5 in scoring this season.
Marvin Williams, G Wednesday 11/12, 10:38 PM CT
Marvin Williams was a perfect 4-of-4 from three-point range as the Hawks fell 102-103 to the Celtics on Wednesday. He finished with 14 points and four rebounds. Last season, Williams hit just one trey, but he is 8-of-9 this season.

Our View: Williams' scoring has increased since Josh Smith has been out. Owners should look to move him shortly before Smith returns. If Williams is not scoring, he is not worth much to his owners.
Zaza Pachulia, F Wednesday 11/12, 10:46 PM CT
The AP reports that Zaza Pachulia left Wednesday's game with Boston due an injured his left shoulder and he did not return. The Hawks loss 102-103.

Our View: Pachulia was starting in place of Josh Smith. The extent of his injury is not yet known.
Al Horford, F Tuesday 11/11, 10:14 PM CT
Al Horford had a big night in the Hawks' 113-108 win over the Bulls. Horford scored 27 points and added 17 boards.

Our View: This was by far the best night of the year for Harford. He was only averaging eight points a game and eight rebounds.
Mike Bibby, G Tuesday 11/11, 10:20 PM CT
Mike Bibby scored 22 points on 9-of-18 shooting in the Hawks' 113-108 win over the Bulls.

Our View: The Hawks have started the season 6-0 and Bibby is one of the main reasons. The guard is averaging 16 points a game and five assists a game.
Joe Johnson, G Sunday 11/9, 8:39 PM CT
Joe Johnson scored a game-high 25 points while hitting just nine of 25 shots in the Hawks 89-85 victory over the Thunder.

Our View: Johnson is a true scoring star having averaged more than 20 points a game the past three years, but after entering this nights contest shooting 55.4% in four games, he will certainly be disappointed by his lackluster effort.
Marvin Williams, G Sunday 11/9, 8:46 PM CT
Marvin Williams scored 16 points in the Hawks 89-85 victory over Oklahoma City on Sunday night. Flip Murray added 14 points with Mike Bibby contributing 13 in the win.

Our View: Williams entered the night scoring just nine points a game, well off his mark of 14.8 in 2007, so perhaps tonight's effort will jump start his scoring totals.
Solomon Jones, F Saturday 11/8, 5:39 PM CT
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Josh Smith’s injury has paved the way for Solomon Jones to break into the Hawks’ rotation of players. He played 25 minutes against the Raptors and finished with six points, nine rebounds, three blocks and impressed defensively against Raptors All-Star Chris Bosh.

Our View: Jones probably will not start but he could see 25 to 30 minutes per game. Don't count on him to provide many fantasy contributions.
Zaza Pachulia, F Saturday 11/8, 5:44 PM CT
Zaza Pachulia will start at center for the Hawks as long as Josh Smith is sidelined with an ankle injuty.

Our View: He was rather ineffective last season in five games as a starter but he could be a decent source of rebounds in blocks for the next few weeks.
Josh Smith, F Saturday 11/8, 7:24 PM CT
TSN reports that Josh Smith will miss the next two to four weeks due to a sprained ankle.

Our View: Through his first three games this season, the talented fourth-year pro is averaging a double-double with 14.0 points and 10.7 rebounds to go along with 3.3 blocks per contest.
Josh Smith, F Friday 11/7, 8:05 PM CT
Josh Smith left Friday's game in the second quarter with a sprained ankle, according to the Associated Press.

Our View: We'll update you on Smith's status as we have more information.
Mike Bibby, G Friday 11/7, 10:47 PM CT
Bibby ended up with 19 points, 12 rebounds, and three rebounds for the Hawks on Friday.

Our View: Bibby struggled in Tuesday's game, but bounced back nicely against the Raptors. Bibby is still a consistent source of points for fantasy owners.
Joe Johnson, G Wednesday 11/5, 9:33 PM CT
Joe Johnson led all Atlanta scorers with 24 as the Hawks won in New Orleans 87-79 on Wednesday. He was 10-for-21 from the field while contributing seven rebounds and four assists.

Our View: Johnson continues to shoot well and has 84 points through three games. He should hang around the Top 10 in scoring all season playing next to point guard Mike Bibby.
Mike Bibby, G Wednesday 11/5, 11:03 PM CT
Mike Bibby had an off-night and lost a lot of minutes to a more impressive Flip Murray as the Hawks won in New Orleans on Wednesday. He had just eight points and four assists on 3-of-10 shooting.

Our View: This was likely a case of just being shut down by one of the best defenders at his position, Chris Paul. Bibby and the Hawks are 3-0 and he probably will not have many nights like this.
Marvin Williams, G Sunday 11/2, 4:44 PM CT
Marvin Williams returned from his one game suspension, but hit just one of his seven shots to finish with two points in 20 minutes.

Our View: Williams was not in foul trouble (he finished with none), he was just ineffective. Of all the Hawks, his numbers were the only to suffer after the arrival of Mike Bibby last season. He has never been a very good multi-category fantasy player, but he could be in line for a long season.
Joe Johnson, G Saturday 11/1, 8:50 PM CT
Joe Johnson scored a game-high 35 points in Saturday's 95-88 win over Philadelphia. He also collected three boards, five assists, and one steal.

Our View: He continues to perform very well as a starting fantasy guard. He is averaging 30 points over two games.
