Anthony Morrow, G Wednesday 11/19, 12:19 AM CT
Anthony Morrow had another big night on Tuesday, with 25 points, four rebounds, one assist, and one steal.

Our View: Morrow's scoring fairly consistently and is picking up rebounds as well.
Stephen Jackson, G Wednesday 11/19, 12:21 AM CT
Stephen Jackson had a big game his first time out after signing a contract extension with the Warriors. He posted 20 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, a steal, and a block.

Our View: Jackson's earning his money as well as the respect of his fantasy owners with games like this.
Al Harrington, F Monday 11/17, 7:58 AM CT
The New Jersey Nets were interested in acquiring Al Harrington and Marco Bellinelli, but the team did not want to give up Josh Boone or Sean Williams, according to the Bergen Record.

Our View: Harrington is out with a back injury right now, but he has made it clear he wants out of Golden State, so rumors will fly until he is traded.
Stephen Jackson, G Monday 11/17, 3:21 PM CT
The Golden State Warriors signed Stephen Jackson to a three-year contract extension that could be worth $28 million, according to the Contra Costa Times.

Our View: Jackson is now the leader of that team, and while you can argue about whether or not that is a good thing, he does bring a lot of ability to the floor, and has shown as much this season, scoring 22.1 points, dishing 6.4 assists, grabbing 3.9 rebounds and accumulating 1.3 steals per game. Fantasy owners have to be pleased with that type of production, though his .381 field goal percentage is a mark that needs improvement.
DeMarcus Nelson, G Saturday 11/15, 12:26 PM CT
DeMarcus Nelson has been sent down to the D-League by the Warriors, according to the SF Chronicle.

Our View: Nelson averaged 5.4 points while playing 14.8 minutes over eight games, shooting 51 percent from the field. He fared well as a shooter, but needs to improve his overall game in the D-League before he rejoins the Warriors.
Richard Hendrix, F Saturday 11/15, 12:29 PM CT
Richard Hendrix has been demoted to the D-League by the Warriors, according to the SF Chronicle.

Our View: Hendrix was hindered by a thigh ailment, and never got a fair shot to compete for playing time with the Warriors.
Anthony Morrow, G Saturday 11/15, 5:02 PM CT
Anthony Morrow was incredible in the Warriors' 120-101 win over the Clippers, scoring 37 points with 11 rebounds and an assist.

Our View: Morrow hasn't had much fantasy value so far this season, so his fabulous stats may have a lot to do with the state of the Clippers as a team this year.
Stephen Jackson, G Saturday 11/15, 5:05 PM CT
Stephen Jackson had a double-double on Saturday to help the Warriors to victory, scoring 20 points to go with 10 assists, four rebounds, and two steals.

Our View: Jackson's consistently piling up the points and assists for fantasy owners. He can be expected to give owners between four and five rebounds per game as well.
Andris Biedrins, C Saturday 11/15, 7:50 PM CT
Andris Biedrins has been a huge plus for fantasy owners this season. 10 games into the season, and Biedrins has recorded a double-double of points and rebounds in each contest.

Our View: The Warriors could be poised to make a late season run once they get Monta Ellis back if they are still getting this kind of performance out of Biedrins in a couple of months. The Warriors are only 4-6 in the early going, but still haven't struggled as much as another annual playoff contender in the Mavericks, who have sputtered to a 2-7 start.
Andris Biedrins, C Friday 11/14, 12:32 AM CT
Andris Biedrins scored 17 points on Thursday to go with 19 rebounds, which keeps him averaging a double-double for the year. He also contributed two assists, a steal, and a block.

Our View: Biedrins fantasy value is an inverse of the current stock markets right now, and should be in your lineup every night until he slows down.
Stephen Jackson, G Friday 11/14, 12:36 AM CT
Stephen Jackson scored 17 points for the Warriors on Thursday, while also contributing nine assists and five rebounds.

Our View: Jackson has seen significant playing time this season, averaging over 43 minutes per game so far. He's been rewarding coach Don Nelson and fantasy owners with consistent scoring and assists so far this season.
Corey Maggette, G Thursday 11/13, 12:14 PM CT
Corey Maggette may not play on Thursday due to his strained left hamstring, according to the Contra Costa Times.

Our View: Maggette has missed four consecutive games, but when he returns, he will be a solid fantasy option, as he's put up 18.5 points, 6.8 boards, 2.0 assists and 1.8 steals.
Monta Ellis, G Thursday 11/13, 4:19 PM CT
Monta Ellis's rehab is going well, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

Our View: Ellis should be able to start resuming basketball activities in two weeks. His return date is still uncertain, but he should have a lot of fantasy value once he's able to play in games again.
Corey Maggette, G Thursday 11/13, 6:26 PM CT
Corey Maggette says he'll play on Thursday, according to the San Francisco Examiner.

Our View: Maggette may be a bit of a risk for fantasy owners tonight, as it's uncertain how many minutes his strained hamstring will allow him to play.
DeMarcus Nelson, G Wednesday 11/12, 7:01 AM CT
DeMarcus Nelson did not play Tuesday after starting for the Warriors at point guard over the first five games of the season, according to the SF Chronicle.

Our View: The rookie is only averaging 5.9 points per game, but is favorably shooting 51 percent from the field. He is worth holding onto in case his minutes start to increase. He is also averaging a steal per game.
Corey Maggette, G Tuesday 11/11, 7:31 AM CT
Corey Maggette, who is recovering from a strained left hamstring, was able to practice Monday, according to the SF Chronicle.

Our View: He expects to play tonight against Minnesota, but will see limited minutes, making him a risky fantasy option.
Al Harrington, F Monday 11/10, 7:15 AM CT
Al Harrington missed another game Sunday due to his lower back strain, and is slated to undergo more tests this week, according to the SF Chronicle.

Our View: He had an MRI exam, which was deemed inconclusive. He is not getting along with the team, namely coach Don Nelson, so his minutes will likely be limited when he is ready to return.
Corey Maggette, G Monday 11/10, 7:19 AM CT
Corey Maggette missed another game Sunday due to his strained left hamstring, according to the SF Chronicle.

Our View: He looks to be a risky fantasy option for this week, and should be reserved until he returns and proves to be healthy and effective again.
Al Harrington, F Monday 11/10, 10:22 PM CT
ESPN.com reports that Al Harrington will miss two weeks due to a back injury. He has been placed on bed rest for the next week. "If he wants to be traded, we'll try to accommodate him," Warriors coach Don Nelson said last week.

Our View: Harrington's disappointment with head coach Don Nelson is well publicized and it seems like he is extremely likely to be traded at some point in the near-future. He is shooting only 32.9 percent in the five games that he has appeared in.
Andris Biedrins, C Sunday 11/9, 10:44 PM CT
Andris Biedrins scored 16 points, grabbed 18 rebounds, handed out four assists, stole two balls and blocked two shots for the Warriors.

Our View: Biedrins has gone for at least 12 points and 11 rebounds in each of his seven games on the young season. He may be terrible at the free throw line at 53.0% for his career, but he never shoots from more than 10 feet which has led to a superb 61.2% mark from the field in his career.
Stephen Jackson, G Sunday 11/9, 10:50 PM CT
Stephen Jackson scored 15 points while handing out six assists in the Warriors 115-98 loss at the hands of the Kings. In support of Jackson, Kelenna Azubuike scored 12 while C.J. Watson and Brendan Wright added 10.

Our View: Jackson will continue to be the focal point of the offense until Monta Ellis returns as the Warriors will try to make sure that they don't burn out their leader with an excessively heavy minutes played load (just 33 minutes on this night).
Anthony Randolph , F Sunday 11/9, 10:52 PM CT
Anthony Randolph, seeing action in just his third NBA game, had his best effort to date with 11 points and seven rebounds in just 14 minutes of garbage time in the Kings 115-98 thrashing of the Warriors.

Our View: The club's first round selection, Randolph isn't a part of the regular rotation that the Warriors employ and therefore has zero fantasy value at the moment.
Richard Hendrix, F Saturday 11/8, 9:58 AM CT
Warriors second-round pick Richard Hendrix will likely spend most of the season in the NBA's Developmental League, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

Our View: Hendrix, who played at Alabama, had trouble with a thigh ailment in training camp, which was part of the reason why he was sent out. He'll be able to develop with more playing time in the D-League.
Marcus Williams, G Saturday 11/8, 10:01 AM CT
Golden State point guard played his first game for the Warriors on Friday, but did not score, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. He was inactive for the first two games of the year for being too heavy.

Our View: Williams had some fantasy owners thinking he could be a sleeper at the point this year, but that went completely out the window during training camp.
Corey Maggette, G Friday 11/7, 2:52 PM CT
As expected, Corey Maggette will miss Friday's game due to his sore left hamstring, according to the Mercury News.

Our View: He could miss more games as well, and shall remain reserved on fantasy rosters until further notice.
Al Harrington, F Friday 11/7, 4:37 PM CT
Al Harrington will miss Friday's game with back trouble, according to the Contra Costa Times.

Our View: Harrington's been having issues with coach Don Nelson, so this complicates things as they need him healthy to be able to trade him.
Corey Maggette, G Thursday 11/6, 11:33 PM CT
Corey Maggette will miss Friday's game with his strained left hamstring, according to the Contra Costa Times.

Our View: Maggette is worth keeping on your roster, so just bench him until he's ready to return to action.
Brandan Wright, F Thursday 11/6, 12:44 AM CT
Brandan Wright played 32 productive minutes off of the bench as the Warriors defeated the Nuggets 111-101 on Wednesday night. Wright finished with 18 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks.

Our View: He had not played more than 10 minutes in any other game this season, but it was clear coach Don Nelson wanted to play Wright in the second half rather than starting power forward Al Harrington, who played just 16 minutes in the win.
Stephen Jackson, G Thursday 11/6, 12:48 AM CT
Stephen Jackson played well on both ends of the court to lead the Warriors to a 111-101 win over the Nuggets on Wednesday. He scored 29 points with seven assists, while playing excellent defense on Carmelo Anthony most of the night. He was 1-for-9 from three-point range and made five turnovers.

Our View: Captain Jack is averaging more than 44 minutes per game and 22.8 points per game. However, he is a serious drag on his owner's field goal percentage and turnover categories.
Kelenna Azubuike, G Thursday 11/6, 12:53 AM CT
Kelenna Azubuike saw 44 minutes of action on Wednesday as the Warriors defeated the Nuggets 111-101 on Wednesday. He finished with 22 points, eight boards, four assists and two steals.

Our View: Azubuike continues to earn minutes from his coach with a smooth jumper and sound defense. He is a good bench option in deeper leagues.
Al Harrington, F Thursday 11/6, 12:56 AM CT
Al Harrington was held to just 16 minutes and three points in the Warriors win over the Nuggets on Wednesday. He was in foul trouble, but he largely sat due to the excellent play of Brandan Wright and the rest of the Warriors bench.

Our View: The game likely got under Harrington's skin. He has been requesting a trade from the Warriors for months and reportedly has never gotten along with coach Don Nelson. Fantasy owners should hope that something gets done soon.
Andris Biedrins, C Thursday 11/6, 1:00 AM CT
Andris Biedrins continued an impressive start to season with 12 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks as the Warriors defeated the Nuggets 111-101.

Our View: The 22-year-old is averaging 16.4 points, 13.8 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game, while shooting 70 percent through five games this season. However, he wil never be a good free throw shooter. He has hit just 12-of-24 attempts this season.
Corey Maggette, G Thursday 11/6, 1:03 AM CT
The AP reports that Corey Maggette was held out of Wednesday's game against the Nuggets with a strained left hamstring.

Our View: Kelenna Azubuike played very well in his place. The severity of the injury is not yet known, but Maggette has a history of being a little bit injury prone.
Andris Biedrins, C Monday 11/3, 10:05 PM CT
Andris Biedrins had 16 points and 22 rebounds as the Warriors fell on the road to the Grizzlies 79-90. Golden State shot just 34.4 percent, but their big man shot 8-for-14.

Our View: He is averaging 17.5 points and 14.5 rebounds through the Warriors first four games and is proving he is worth the big contract he was awarded in the summer.
Corey Maggette, G Sunday 11/2, 5:30 PM CT
Corey Maggette scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the Warriors won on the road in New Jersey 105-97. Although he shot just 3-for-13 from the floor, he was 13-for-15 from the line.

Our View: Maggette has 26 rebounds through three games which is an unexpected stat for his owners. Maggette gets to the line as much as anyone in the league and he typically converts his attempts.
Al Harrington, F Saturday 11/1, 10:47 AM CT
ESPN.com reports that the Knicks and Pacers are both interested in trading for Golden State forward Al Harrington. Harrington had made his trade demands public, citing that he wasn't receiving enough minutes under coach Don Nelson. However, he has played an average of 44 minutes through the first two games this season.

Our View: The Warriors are being offered Stephon Marbury and Jamal Tinsley as cornerstones in the deal but the Warriors are not likely interested despite not having any good, healthy point guards on their current roster.
Andris Biedrins, C Saturday 11/1, 10:10 PM CT
Andris Biedrins collected a double-double in Saturday's 105-97 win over the Nets, with 23 points and 11 boards. He also notched two steals and two blocks.

Our View: The Warriors' center has registered a double-double in each of the first two games of the season, and is averaging 18.5 points and 11.5 boards.
