Terry leads Mavs past hobbled Rockets Houston, TX (Sports Network) - Jason Terry scored 31 points, and Dirk Nowitzki
added 24 points and 12 rebounds to pace Dallas to a 96-86 victory over the
injury-riddled Houston Rockets.
Jason Kidd contributed eight points, nine rebounds and seven assists for the
Mavericks, who won their third in a row following a five-game skid. The Mavs,
who played without second-leading scorer Josh Howard (left ankle), also beat
Houston for the 11th time in the last 14 meetings.
Rafer Alston and Tracy McGrady each scored 16 points, but the Rockets were

Ron Artest did his best Yao Ming impression on Wednesday finishing with 14 points, 13 assists, two blocks, two steals, and an assist. However, it wasn't enough as the Rockets lost 96-86 to the Mavs.
Our View:Artest owners should be weary about his sprained ankle still, but it certainly didn't bother him on Wednesday.
Tracy McGrady played well in limited time on Wednesday after being questionable going into the contests. He had 16 points, with one each of rebounds, steals, assists, and blocks in 29 minutes.
Our View:The Rockets clearly missed 100 percent T-Mac, in addition to Yao Ming.
