Mike Dunleavy, G Sunday 10/12, 9:12 AM CT
Mike Dunleavy is still battling tendinitis in his right knee, according to the Indianapolis Star.

Our View: He hopes to return to the court within the next week or so. Dunleavy favorably averaged 19.1 points per game last season, but will rank as a risky fantasy prospect for 2008, as his ailment could return over the course of the season.
T.J. Ford, G Friday 10/10, 8:52 PM CT
T.J. Ford scored 18 points in Friday's 102-93 preseason win over the Bulls. He also registered five boards and five assists.

Our View: Tonight's performance will help improve his bid to win the starting gig at point guard over top competitor Jarrett Jack.
Jeff Foster, F Friday 10/10, 6:46 PM CT
Jeff Foster reportedly agreed to terms on a contract extension with the Pacers, according to the AP. Terms were not disclosed.

Our View: He has spent his entire 10-year career with the Pacers, averaging five points and seven rebounds, and would like to finish his career with the team. As a fantasy center, he holds no value.
Eddie Jones, G Friday 10/10, 4:43 PM CT
Eddie Jones has been traded from Dallas to Indiana in exchange for Shawne Williams, according to the Dallas Morning News. Indiana will acquire two second round draft picks from Dallas as well.

Our View: Jones has been battling a left hamstring problem, and will not hold much fantasy value if healthy.
Mike Dunleavy, G Thursday 10/9, 9:28 PM CT
Mike Dunleavy will miss at least the next two preseason games due to tendonitis in his right knee, according to the Indianapolis Star. "Michael's not progressing necessarily at the level we would like," coach Larry O'Brien said. "(He)both should start the season healthy. We don't anticipate these will be recurring."

Our View: Dunleavy has sat out most of training camp due to the ailment. He had an impressive year last season but this injury could be reoccurring throughout the season.
Danny Granger, G Thursday 10/9, 9:24 PM CT
The Indianapolis Star reports that Danny Granger was limited in practice because of a sore foot which he injured the night before against the Hornets.

Our View: The injury has not been deemed serious, but may explain Granger's poor performance, highlighted by his shooting. He was 1-for-11 from the field.
David Harrison, C Thursday 10/9, 11:35 AM CT
The Timberwolves are expected to sign free agent center David Harrison, the Rocky Mountain News reports.

Our View: Harrison's best assets are his size, his height, and the fact that he's tall. He is just another big body for the Wolves to throw into their center mix.
Danny Granger, G Wednesday 10/8, 9:24 PM CT
Danny Granger was 1-for-11 in Wednesday's 71-105 loss to the Hornets. He went 7-for-8 from the line to finish with nine points.

Our View: Granger is getting a lot of love for his across the board production from last season. Tonight was just what it was - an exhibition. Expect Granger to be fully ready to go for the regular season.
T.J. Ford, G Wednesday 10/8, 9:20 PM CT
T.J. Ford made his Pacers debut on Wednesday night in a 71-105 loss to the Hornets. He finished with 15 points, three rebounds, two assists, a steal and a three in 22 minutes.

Our View: We would like to see a few more assists from Ford going forward. He should have the starter's job locked up ahead of Jarett Jack as he had eight turnovers on the night.
Mike Dunleavy, G Monday 10/6, 4:23 PM CT
Mike Dunleavy will miss the Pacers preseason opener on Wednesday due to tendonitis in his right knee, according to the Indianapolis Star.

Our View: Marquis Daniels will likely pick up a start or two while Dunleavy works through his injury which sounds like a rather minor concern that will just need some maintenance.
Troy Murphy, F Monday 10/6, 4:20 PM CT
Troy Murphy will miss the Pacers preseason opener on Wednesday due to an Achilles tendon problem, according to the Indianapolis Star. Travis Diener will also miss the game because of an injured foot.

Our View: Jeff Foster or Austin Croshere will be called on to start in place of Murphy. At this point there isn't a lot of information to go on, but given that this is the first we have heard of this condition we would expect it to be rather minor.
Jamaal Tinsley, G Saturday 10/4, 11:47 AM CT
Jamaal Tinsley could still be traded to the Nuggets after all, according to the Indianapolis Star. It was erroneously reported Friday that Tinsley was dealt, but a person familiar with the situation said the point guard could be traded for real as early as Monday. Point guard Chucky Atkins and center Steven Hunter would go to the Pacers in the deal.

Our View: We're not going to speculate any more on this deal. We'll let you know when and if it happens.
Jamaal Tinsley, G Friday 10/3, 11:06 AM CT
A trade reported by the New York Post that said Indiana was trading Jamaal Tinsley to Denver for Chucky Atkins and Stephen Hunter is untrue, according to the Rocky Mountain News. "I think there have been conversations because everybody knows the Nuggets are looking for a point guard and Indiana another big. But I don’t think anything is imminent or close," said Hunter's agent, Mark Bartelstein.

Our View: Tinsley is not allowed to come to Pacers camp because of off-court incidents, and the team is desperately trying to move him. This trade, or a similar one, may in fact be in the works, but it appears as if it is not happening today.
Jamaal Tinsley, G Friday 10/3, 7:31 AM CT
Point guard Jamaal Tinsley was traded from the Indiana Pacers to the Denver Nuggets for Chuckie Atkins and Stephen Hunter, according to the New York Post.

Our View: Tinsley had long been rumored to be leaving the Pacers, and he will join the Nuggets, and likely compete with veteran Anthony Carter for the point guard spot.
Mike Dunleavy, G Thursday 10/2, 10:58 AM CT
Pacers forward Mike Dunleavy put up a career-high 19.1 points per game last year, and he expects to get even better this season, according to the Indianapolis Star. "If I can get better in my sixth year in the league, I can get better in my seventh," Dunleavy said.

Our View: Dunleavy was the third overall pick in the draft, and he never could break through with Golden State. He does have soreness in his knee, but if that gets cleared up, he could be a solid selection at forward for fantasy owners, especially if he keeps up his 42 percent shooting from three-point range.
Mike Dunleavy, G Wednesday 10/1, 4:35 PM CT
Mike Dunleavy missed Wednesday's practice because of his sore knee according to the Indianapolis Star.

Our View: Dunleavy reported to camp with the soreness and it is worth watching. If it continues to linger, there may be a serious problem with it. We'll keep you updated.
