Cuttino Mobley, G Wednesday 11/19, 9:51 PM CT
Cuttino Mobley extended his double digit scoring streak to five games on Wednesday, coming up with 23 points. He also had seven steals and a couple rebounds.

Our View: Mobley's stock as a scorer continues to rise with another solid effort for the Clippers. Keep watching him on the waiver wire.
Chris Kaman, C Wednesday 11/19, 9:53 PM CT
Chris Kaman had a monster game for the Clippers on Wednesday with 25 points, 14 rebounds, six assists, and four blocks.

Our View: If the Clippers still want to trade Kaman, games like this will certainly help with what he can bring in.
Marcus Camby, C Tuesday 11/18, 12:03 AM CT
Marcus Camby returned to the starting lineup for the Clippers on Monday as they fell 83-86 to the Spurs. He finished with just seven points, but managed nine rebounds and six blocks.

Our View: This is all his owners can ask of him as he tries to get accustomed to his new offense after missing all of the preseason. As long as he is amongst the leaders in blocked shots and rebounds, he is valuable to fantasy squads. As long as he remains healthy, he should have a successful second half.
Baron Davis, G Tuesday 11/18, 12:06 AM CT
Baron Davis scored just 11 points in the Clippers 83-86 loss to the Spurs on Monday. He shot 5-of-17, including 0-for-8 from three-point range.

Our View: Davis has already begun feuding with his coach and is entirely capable of mailing the rest of this season in. Following his next big game, it may be time to shop him around.
Cuttino Mobley, G Tuesday 11/18, 7:04 PM CT
Cuttino Mobley has been heating up lately, scoring in double digits in his last four contests. He's also been putting up slightly more rebounds and assists as of late.

Our View: Mobley's owned in a little over half of leagues, but could be a solid pick up if he keeps up the consistent play.
Baron Davis, G Saturday 11/15, 5:08 PM CT
Baron Davis was on the wrong end of a battle with his former club on Saturday. The Clippers fell to Goldent State 120-101 with Davis putting up 25 points, 11 assists, four rebounds, and three steals.

Our View: Davis should continue to rack up points and assists, even with as bad as the Clippers are.
Marcus Camby, C Saturday 11/15, 5:12 PM CT
Marcus Camby came off the bench and posted a double-double for the Clippers in their loss to Golden State on Saturday. He finished with 12 points, 11 rebounds, and one assist.

Our View: Camby should be a consistent source of points and rebounds if he's not slowed by injuries anymore this year, as he's missed three of the Clippers' nine games so far this season.
Al Thornton, F Thursday 11/13, 12:15 AM CT
Al Thornton scored 20 points, hit two three-pointers and blocked three shots, but it wasn't enough to get the Clippers a win against the visiting Kings.

Our View: Thornton has been a bit inconsistent this season, but you can expect him to pull his weight on the offensive end.
Baron Davis, G Thursday 11/13, 12:19 AM CT
Baron Davis shot just 4-of-15 to finish with 12 points as the Clippers fell to the visiting Kings 98-103 on Wednesday. He shot 0-for-4 from three-point range and had no steals, but was able to pick up 11 assists.

Our View: Davis has recently expressed his displeasure with coach Mike Dunleavy's rigid offense. Davis has been known to bailout on past teams and coaches. This situation could get ugly.
Tim Thomas, F Thursday 11/13, 8:06 AM CT
Tim Thomas was activated by the Clippers before the team's game on Wednesday, and he came off the bench to score 12 points in the team's loss to Sacramento, according to the L.A. Times.

Our View: Thomas had been dealing with a sprained ankle and had been out for a week. He is a decent option as a reserve for fantasy owners, but likely won't be more than that.
Chris Kaman, C Wednesday 11/12, 8:46 AM CT
Coach Mike Dunleavy denies the report that the Clippers are shopping Chris Kaman, according to the LA Times. The New York Post reported a rumor that the Clippers were open to trading Kaman to the Bobcats, but Dunleavy stated, "They got the rejection. But they threw it out there that I almost had a dance with somebody."

Our View: Kaman enjoys playing for the Clippers, and is off to a solid start while averaging 13.1 points, 10.4 boards, and 2.1 blocks over seven games.
Tim Thomas, F Wednesday 11/12, 8:52 AM CT
The Clippers are uncertain if Tim Thomas will be able to play tonight against the Kings, according to the LA Times. He is recovering from a sprained left ankle and coach Mike Dunleavy said, "If he can't play, he'll be ready for Saturday against Golden State."

Our View: Thomas believes he will be able to play through the pain. An X-ray revealed no broken bones and Thomas was able to practice Tuesday. He has been productive enough to hold as a reserve fantasy forward, as he is averaging 12.2 points and six boards over six games.
Baron Davis, G Sunday 11/9, 5:46 PM CT
Baron Davis led the Clippers 103-92 victory over the Mavericks with 22 points and 10 assists. Davis also had four rebounds though he was just 3-for-9 on 3-pointers.

Our View: This effort was a second straight 20 point outing after Davis averaged just 9.6 points over his first five games. As long as he is healthy he will produce big numbers, but there is no certainty whatsoever that he will be able to stay healthy long enough to justify his draft day cost.
Marcus Camby, C Sunday 11/9, 5:50 PM CT
Marcus Camby hit four of eight shots on his way to nine points, but he also chipped in 14 boards for the Clippers. At the opposite end of the spectrum, Al Thornton scored 17 points while puling down just one board.

Our View: Camby, playing just his fourth game of the year, is averaging 10.8 boards per game and 2.5 blocks per contest in his first season with the Clippers. He should continue to post similar numbers over the course of the season.
Tim Thomas, F Saturday 11/8, 9:39 AM CT
Clippers forward Tim Thomas had to leave the team's game on Friday after spraining his left ankle, according to The Sports Network.

Our View: X-rays on the ankle were negative, and there is no word yet on how long Thomas will be out.
Marcus Camby, C Friday 11/7, 9:09 AM CT
Marcus Camby is still dealing with his sore heel and the Clippers intend to limit his minutes while he continues to recover, according to the LA Times.

Our View: He is averaging 21.5 minutes over two games played. It will be difficult to reach double-digits in rebounds while playing limited minutes, and it may be best for fantasy owners to reserve him until his workload increases.
Eric Gordon, G Friday 11/7, 9:13 AM CT
Coach Mike Dunleavy noted that Eric Gordon could start to see more playing time, according to the LA Times.

Our View: The Clippers' first-round pick was their leading scorer in the preseason, averaging 14.6 points and had an impressive 33-point outing against the Kings. Gordon is only averaging 5.4 minutes over five games so far, but could be worth a look as a flier in deeper leagues if his playing time starts to increase.
Tim Thomas, F Thursday 11/6, 12:25 AM CT
With Marcus Camby starting at power forward, Tim Thomas played 33 minutes off of the bench and finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds as the Clippers lost 106-88 to the Lakers on Wednesday.

Our View: He hit just one three-pointer in the game. Camby only played 16 minutes which does not figure to be the case many nights.
Marcus Camby, C Thursday 11/6, 12:30 AM CT
Marcus Camby was held to just 16 minutes because of foul trouble on Tuesday. He still managed seven rebounds and four blocks.

Our View: Camby is still getting accustomed to his new team as a sore heal kept him out of the preseason. Regardless, he will continue to excel on the defensive end, even playing next to center Chris Kaman.
Baron Davis, G Tuesday 11/4, 12:04 AM CT
Baron Davis returned for the Clippers and played 32 minutes as they lost to Utah 89-73 on Monday. He finished with 14 points, nine assists, three rebounds and two steals.

Our View: He shot just 5-for-15 from the field including three treys, and just 1-for-4 from the free throw line. His return was a big relief to his owners as he has already dealt with a finger and hip injury in the young season.
Marcus Camby, C Tuesday 11/4, 12:07 AM CT
Marcus Camby appeared in his first game for the Clippers as they lost to the Jazz 73-89 on Monday. The former Defensive Player of the Year came off of the bench and finished with nine points, nine rebounds and two blocks in 27 minutes of action.

Our View: Camby had yet to play at all with his new team, but Monday's performance showed he is still capable of dominating blocks and rebounds. He figures to start ahead of Tim Thomas wants he gets comfortable with his new team, which could be very soon.
Marcus Camby, C Tuesday 11/4, 9:54 AM CT
Marcus Camby was able to play 27 minutes in his Clippers' debut Monday, but admitted after the game that his bruised right heel is still sore, according to the LA Daily News. He said, "My heel is still pretty sore, but that was a good first step. We still got a whole lot of work to do. The schedule is definitely not in our favor, we just have to buckle down and figure out how to get a win."

Our View: His minutes could be limited while he continues to recover from his ailment, but the defensive stud should still be productive enough to keep in fantasy lineups. He hauled in nine rebounds and three blocks Monday against Utah.
Marcus Camby, C Monday 11/3, 9:45 AM CT
Marcus Camby, who is recovering from a bruised heel, is questionable for Monday's game against the Jazz, according to ClipsNation.com.

Our View: It was previously stated that he was aiming at this game to make his Clippers' debut. His strong defensive skills would greatly help against a tough Utah club.
Baron Davis, G Sunday 11/2, 4:16 PM CT
The L.A. Times reports that Baron Davis will miss Monday's game against the Jazz at Staples Center due to a sore hip and he could be out longer. "It's probably going to be three or four days and we'll kind of re-evaluate," Clippers Coach Mike Dunleavy said.

Our View: This is what makes Davis a classic high risk/high reward draft pick He played 82 games last season and was on a lot of fantasy champions. However, he played in 67 or less games in five straight seasons prior to last year's contract year. Aside from the sore hip, Davis also has a badly sprained finger on his left hand.
Marcus Camby, C Saturday 11/1, 7:49 PM CT
Marcus Camby is aiming for Monday to make his season debut with the Clippers, according to the LA Daily News. He is recovering from a bruised heel and said, "It was pretty sore when I woke up Friday morning, which was going to be expected. It’s just a process. I was able to do some running today. it felt pretty good. I’m still targeting Monday."

Our View: The Clippers have a tough battle against the Jazz Monday, and Camby's strong defensive prowess will be greatly appreciated if able to go.
Cuttino Mobley, G Saturday 11/1, 11:54 PM CT
Cuttino Mobley led the Clippers with 20 points in Saturday's 101-79 loss to Utah. He also hauled in three rebounds.

Our View: The 32-year-old guard is still capable of solid production as a scorer, evidenced by tonight's outing.
Al Thornton, F Saturday 11/1, 1:11 AM CT
Al Thornton had perhaps his best game as a pro on Friday as the Clippers fell at home to Denver on Halloween. The second-year forward exploded for 30 points and 11 rebounds in the overtime loss. He also swiped three steals in the effort.

Our View: This was a breakout performance that came mostly without an injured Baron Davis (back). Should Davis miss some games, expect Thornton to shoulder a lot of the offensive load, which is great news for his fantasy owners.
Chris Kaman, C Saturday 11/1, 1:14 AM CT
Chris Kaman produced good numbers despite the Clippers falling to the Nuggets at home in overtime on Friday night. He had 15 points, 15 rebounds, four blocks and two steals in 44 minutes of action.

Our View: Once again, Marcus Camby did not play. As long as he's out, you can expect solid production from Kaman. However, it remains to be seen how he will perform once Camby returns.
Tim Thomas, F Saturday 11/1, 1:19 AM CT
Playing in place of Marcus Camby at power forward, Tim Thomas played 40 minutes in the Clippers overtime loss to the Nuggets on Friday. He finished with 20 points and seven rebounds.

Our View: It doesn't seem as if Camby will be back anytime soon, which makes Thomas a decent play for the start of the season. There's a good chance he is on your waiver wire, and may be worth a part-time pickup if you have somebody that you can afford to drop.
Eric Gordon, G Saturday 11/1, 1:22 AM CT
Eric Gordon played just two minutes in the Clippers 113-103 loss to the Nuggets on Friday, despite losing teammate Baron Davis in the second quarter. He finished with two points.

Our View: Gordon led the team in the preseason but it seems apparent that he is not in coach Mike Dunleavy's rotation. It is safe to drop him.
Baron Davis, G Saturday 11/1, 7:56 AM CT
The L.A. Times reports that Baron Davis is not expected to travel to Utah for tonight's game due to an injured hip that he suffered in the second quarter of Friday's game against the Nuggets.

Our View: Davis, who signed a five-year, $65 million contract in the offseason to join the Clippers as a free agent, played in 67 or less games in five straight seasons prior to last year's contract year. The extent of this injury has yet to be determined, but don't be surprised to see a repeat performance this time around. He entered the game with a partially torn ligament in his left ring finger.
Jason Hart, G Saturday 11/1, 8:08 AM CT
Point guard Jason Hart played 29 minuted in Friday night's loss to Denver while filling in for the injured Baron Davis (hip). He shot just 1-for-5 for three points and two assists.

Our View: Hart may assume more playing time but he is not yet worthy of a fantasy roster spot. The extent of Davis' injury will determine Hart's upcoming opportunity. Hart will likely start tonight in Utah.
