Rudy Gay, G Tuesday 11/18, 10:05 PM CT
Rudy Gay scored 22 points on Tuesday, leading the Grizzlies to their fourth win of the year. He had eight rebounds, four assists, two steals, and a block as well.

Our View: Gay has been solid for both points and rebounds most of this year. Look for him to continue this trend.
Hakim Warrick, F Tuesday 11/18, 10:08 PM CT
Hakim Warrick came up huge off of the Memphis bench on Tuesday, with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and an assist in 34 minutes.

Our View: Warrick doesn't play enough to have a lot of fantasy value, but when he's in there, he's scoring and rebounding.
O.J. Mayo, G Friday 11/14, 10:47 PM CT
O.J. Mayo continued his scoring frenzy on Friday, finishing with 25 points. He also had three assists and three rebounds.

Our View: Mayo is taken in nearly all leagues, but if he's available in yours, sign him while you can. Mayo was billed as a guard who would be capable of scoring and he's proving that in the early going.
Rudy Gay, G Friday 11/14, 10:51 PM CT
Rudy Gay had 24 points, three rebounds, two steals, and a block in Memphis' 101-96 overtime loss to the Bucks.

Our View: Gay's primary contribution in fantasy is points, but there's no shortage there as he's still averaging over 20 points-per-game.
Mike Conley, G Thursday 11/13, 9:57 AM CT
The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports that There is growing concern with Mike Conley, who was 1-for-5 shooting with two assists, two turnovers and made negligible impact through three quarters in Wednesday's loss to the Knicks. "He's got to play harder," coach Marc Iavaroni said. "When he plays hard he's a good player. When he doesn't, he's below average." Conley acknowledged that he's not playing with confidence.

Our View: Conley is averaging just one more minute per game than his backup, Kyle Lowry, and he has not been much more productive. Those who were expecting Conley to turn the corner this season may have to wait a little longer. There are likely point guards on the waiver wire who are producing better than he is throughout the early going.
Rudy Gay, G Wednesday 11/12, 11:18 PM CT
Rudy Gay led all Memphis scorers with 20 points as they rolled over for the Knicks on Wednesday. He hit two threes to go with three boards, three assists and two steals.

Our View: That's right on his average and he should be a lock to average at least 20 this season.
O.J. Mayo, G Monday 11/10, 10:41 PM CT
O.J. Mayo scored 33 points for the Grizzlies on Monday as they lost 102-107 to the Phoenix Suns. The rookie hit three three-pointers to go with five assists, three rebounds and three steals.

Our View: Mayo has scored 28 or more in three of his last four games and it's clear that his new team is growing comfortable with him taking around 20 shots per game. He is shooting 49.4 percent over his last five games.
Rudy Gay, G Monday 11/10, 10:58 PM CT
Rudy Gay scored 20 points and seven rebounds as the Grizzlies fell 102-107 to the Suns on Monday.

Our View: O.J. Mayo scored 33 points and the rookie has been taking significantly more shots than Gay lately. It appears that Gay is no longer the top option in the Grizzlies' offense.
Mike Conley, G Monday 11/10, 11:07 PM CT
Mike Conley was shutout by Steve Nash and the Suns on Monday as the Grizzlies lost 102-107. He had two assists, two turnovers, and two rebounds.

Our View: Conley has split minutes with Kyle Lowry all season and has not been a worthy fantasy player to this point.
O.J. Mayo, G Sunday 11/9, 10:33 PM CT
O.J. Mayo scored a career best 31 points hitting 11-of-21 shots, including four of five on 3-pointers, as the Grizzlies fell to the Nuggets 100-90. Mayo also added eight boards and three assists in the effort.

Our View: Mayo is averaging 19.3 points a game through seven appearances as he is proving that his game is at the level where he can contribute on the offensive end as a rookie. Don't expect him to suddenly forget how to score - the kid is legit.
Rudy Gay, G Sunday 11/9, 10:36 PM CT
Rudy Gay contributed across the board with 16 points, seven rebound, four assists, three steals and two blocked shots on Sunday night. The only negatives were his 4-for-17 shooting and six turnovers.

Our View: Gay, the Grizzlies best player, certainly cannot afford to commit so many turnovers as the offense continual ends up running the ball through his hands. Look for him to tighten things up and for his numbers to improve as the season wears on.
Darrell Arthur, F Thursday 11/6, 12:05 AM CT
Darrell Arthur started again at power forward for the Grizzlies on Wednesday, but he managed just 17 minutes of playing time. He had four points and five rebounds on 1-for-7 shooting.

Our View: This marks the third straight game with 17 minutes or less and Arthur has been mostly irrelevant in each of those games. It seems only a matter of time before he loses the job to Hakim Warrick or Darko Milicic.
O.J. Mayo, G Wednesday 11/5, 11:48 PM CT
Rookie O.J. Mayo caught fire as the Grizzlies fell to the Kings on Wednesday. He finished with 28 points on 10-of-19 shooting, including 6-of-10 from three.

Our View: Mayo has been streaky as is expected. He entered the game averaging just 14.0 points per game but you can expect that to go up quite a bit starting with Wednesday's performance.
Kyle Lowry, G Wednesday 11/5, 11:51 PM CT
Kyle Lowry played twice as much as starting point guard Mike Conley on Wednesday as Memphis lost 95-100 in Sacramento. Lowry had 14 points, seven assists, and six rebounds with two treys.

Our View: Conley's gotten off to a slow start and Lowry has shown he is capable of running the team. Should he take over the starter's position, he holds sound fantasy value.
Marc Gasol, C Monday 11/3, 10:02 PM CT
Marc Gasol poured in 27 points and grabbed 16 boards as the Grizzlies held off the Warriors 90-79 on Monday. The big rookie was 9-for-11 from both the field and the free throw line and also blocked three shots.

Our View: Not too many people saw this one coming. Gasol was an absolute force for the Griz and if he is on your waiver wire, he certainly seems worth taking a flier on.
Rudy Gay, G Saturday 11/1, 10:52 PM CT
Rudy Gay led Memphis with 20 points in Saturday's 96-86 loss to Chicago, to go along with five rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one block.

Our View: Gay has been the most solid and productive member of the Grizzlies so far, and should remain active in fantasy lineups.
