Dorell Wright, G Wednesday 11/19, 5:37 PM CT
Dorell Wright is trying to be patient with his injured knee, according to Sports Illustrated. He doesn't want to risk being out even longer by coming back too soon.

Our View: Wright probably won't have much fantasy value when he returns.
Dwyane Wade, G Wednesday 11/19, 9:04 PM CT
Dwyane Wade's onslaught wasn't enough on Wednesday, as the Heat fell 101-95 to the Raptors. Wade shot 16-of-30 from the field, finishing with 40 points, 11 assists, three rebounds, five blocks, and a steal.

Our View: Wade's averaging almost 30 points a game this season and has been nearly unstoppable for most of it.
Michael Beasley, F Wednesday 11/19, 9:09 PM CT
Michael Beasley was held to single digits in points for the second straight game on Wednesday, finishing with just seven. Before this recent two-game slump, Beasley had scored in double digits in every game since his NBA debut back on October 29th. Beasley also had four rebounds and an assist.

Our View: Beasley will probably break out of this slump soon and should remain in your lineup.
Dwyane Wade, G Tuesday 11/18, 12:00 PM CT
Dwyane Wade returned to practice Tuesday, according to the Sun Sentinel. He has been dealing with a sprained ankle.

Our View: Barring a setback, he is expected to play in tonight's game against the Wizards.
Dwyane Wade, G Tuesday 11/18, 9:05 PM CT
Dwyane Wade only played 35 minutes for the Heat on Tuesday, but that didn't stop him from racking up a double-double. Wade had 18 points, 10 assists, six rebounds, three blocks, and two steals.

Our View: Not bad for someone with a bum right ankle who spent over a quarter of the game on the bench. We'll keep you posted on Wade's injury problems, but it looks like he can still contribute at this point.
Udonis Haslem, F Tuesday 11/18, 9:08 PM CT
Udonis Haslem recorded his fourth straight double-double on Tuesday, finishing up with 12 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, and a block.

Our View: Haslem's available in about half of leagues and should continue to be a consistent source of scoring and rebounds.
Dwyane Wade, G Monday 11/17, 9:00 AM CT
Heat guard Dwayne Wade sprained his ankle during Sunday's loss to Toronto, according to the Miami Herald.

Our View: Wade may not practice on Monday, but the good news is he did it during the third quarter of the game and continued to play. The team does not play again for two days, so that may be enough time for it to heal.
Dwyane Wade, G Monday 11/17, 1:49 PM CT
Dwyane Wade could miss Tuesday's game against Washington because of a sprained ankle he suffered on Sunday that also kept him out of practice on Monday, according to the Miami Herald.

Our View: The reports were positive after the game, and Wade said the outlook was good, but the swelling apparently did not go down quite like the team expected.
Udonis Haslem, F Sunday 11/16, 2:34 PM CT
Udonis Haslem had a double-double on Sunday with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Our View: Haslem continues to put forth quality minutes for the Heat this season.
Dwyane Wade, G Sunday 11/16, 2:36 PM CT
Dwyane Wade had another big game for the Heat on Sunday, scoring 29 points. He added eight assists, three rebounds, four steals and two blocks.

Our View: He continues to be a stud for fantasy owners this season.
Shawn Marion, F Friday 11/14, 10:51 AM CT
Shawn Marion is questionable for Friday's game against Washington due to his groin injury, according to the Sports Network.

Our View: He was unable to play Wednesday due to the ailment. He has been quiet as a scorer over six games played, as he is only averaging 10.3 points.
Dwyane Wade, G Friday 11/14, 6:36 PM CT
Dwyane Wade will start for the Heat on Friday, according to ESPN.

Our View: Wade has been plagued by injuries during the past two seasons, but during the 2004-05 and 2005-06 seasons, he averaged 26.8 points per game against Friday's opponent, the Wizards.
Dwyane Wade, G Friday 11/14, 9:07 PM CT
Dwyane Wade continues to light up opponents, as he scored 24 points for Miami on Friday. He also added four assists, two rebounds, and a steal.

Our View: Wade is finally back to a top-10 fantasy player for owners this year, after having injury problems during the last two season.
Michael Beasley, F Friday 11/14, 9:10 PM CT
Michael Beasley continues to impress in his rookie year by scoring 19 points in Friday's win over Washington. He also had six rebounds, two assists, and three steals.

Our View: Beasley should be in your lineup every night, as he's been a good source of points and boards all season.
Jamaal Magloire, C Thursday 11/13, 12:00 AM CT
The AP reports that center Jamaal Magloire had his first on-court workout Wednesday since breaking his left hand last month. He's still barred from contact, but has dropped his weight to 250 (from 267) and his body fat to 9.1 percent (from 13). Magloire thinks he could play "in the next two weeks," but doctors believe it'll take a little longer.

Our View: The Heat desperately need a big man right now, as Mark Blount is also injured. Don't rush to pick up Magloire though. He has been an ineffective fantasy player for the past few years.
Shawn Marion, F Wednesday 11/12, 7:14 PM CT
Shawn Marion will not play against Portland on Wednesday. He is dealing with a broken nose and a groin injury.

Our View: He had been a game-time decision and will miss his second consecutive game. The Matrix has been an underwhelming fantasy producer this season.
Dwyane Wade, G Wednesday 11/12, 10:15 PM CT
Dwyane Wade eclipsed 30 points for the fourth straight game as the Heat fell at home to Portland 96-104 on Wednesday. He finished the game with 36 points, eight assists, six rebounds, three blocks, and two steals in a fantastic all-around effort.

Our View: Wade's across the board production has been remarkable all season long. He has looked incredibly healthy this season and as long as he continues to be he will be one of the Top 5 fantasy players in the game.
Chris Quinn, G Wednesday 11/12, 10:58 PM CT
Chris Quinn played 30 minutes off the bench as Miami fell to Portland on Wednesday. He scored 10 points, dished out five assists, a three, and no turnovers.

Our View: Quinn is emerging as the better fantasy option between he and Mario Chalmers, but both figure to bounce back and forth off of the waiver wire most of the season.
Shawn Marion, F Wednesday 11/12, 1:08 PM CT
Shawn Marion will be a game-time decision for Wednesday's game against Portland, according to the Miami Herald.

Our View: Marion missed Monday's game against the Nets and was unable to practice Tuesday due to his groin ailment. He is feeling better and is hopeful treatment will allow him to take the court.
Shawn Marion, F Tuesday 11/11, 8:27 AM CT
Shawn Marion was held out of Monday's game due to his right groin injury, but is aiming at returning to the court Wednesday against Portland, according to the Sun Sentinel.

Our View: His scoring is down as he is only averaging 10.3 points, but he remains productive with 8.5 boards, 1.7 steals, and 1.8 blocks per game.
Shawn Marion, F Monday 11/10, 6:20 PM CT
The AP reports that Shawn Marion aggravated his right groin Saturday in Miami’s loss to New Orleans and will not play against the Nets on Monday. got treatment Sunday and again before the game Monday, but because he was still experiencing soreness, the team decided it was best to hold him out. “It hurts still, but hopefully another day of treatment, another two days of treatment and I’ll be good to go hopefully for Wednesday,” Marion said.

Our View: The Matrix was a first round pick in most leagues but has played far below his expectations. He is averaging just 10.3 points per game this season.
Dwyane Wade, G Monday 11/10, 9:45 PM CT
Dwyane Wade had his fourth straight game with at least 29 points as the Heat defeated the Nets 99-94 on Monday night. Despite six turnovers, Wade managed 33 points, five assists, four steals and a block. The guard entered the game 0-for-9 from three, but he hit four treys in this game.

Our View: Wade continues to backup his first round draft status with tons of scoring and defense. He will likely sink your team with his turnovers, but he makes up for it in nearly every othr category.
Dwyane Wade, G Saturday 11/8, 12:00 AM CT
Dwyane Wade fell just an assist shy of a triple-double on Friday, finishing with 33 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists. Wade also had three steals as the Heat beat the slumping Spurs.

Our View: Wade is really coming on for the Heat. We haven't seen him this good since Miami's title season.
Dwyane Wade, G Saturday 11/8, 9:51 PM CT
Dwyane Wade poured in 30 points, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Hornets as the Heat fell 89-100 on Saturday. He added 10 assists, six rebounds, two blocks and one steal.

Our View: Wade also had five turnovers giving him 24 through six games. Despite being one of the worst in the NBA with turnovers, Wade makes up for it with his incredible across the board production.
Shawn Marion, F Saturday 11/8, 9:58 PM CT
Shawn Marion had another unimpressive game on Saturday as the Heat fell to the Hornets. He finished with 10 points, eight rebounds, and a block to go with two turnovers.

Our View: Will Marion turn it on? Or is this what we can expect all season long? He needs to keep producing on defense to maintain a worthy fantasy starter. Another concern is that he entered the game as an 82 percent free throw shooter, but he's hit just 11-of-17 this season.
Chris Quinn, G Saturday 11/8, 10:06 PM CT
Chris Quinn ate into rookie Mario Chalmers' minutes on Saturday as the Heat fell to the Hornets 89-100. He played 24 minutes and finished with 14 points, three rebounds, two assists and two steals. He hit four three-pointers in the loss.

Our View: Chalmers had just four points in 27 minutes. Quinn was Erik Spoelstra's starting point guard entering the season but an injured ankle kept him coming off of the bench. It's worth watching to see if he takes over the job from Chalmers, in which case he will hold some fantasy value.
Mario Chalmers, G Saturday 11/8, 10:09 PM CT
Mario Chalmers had just four points, three rebounds, three assists, and one steal as the Heat fell 89-100 to the Hornets on Saturday.

Our View: Chalmers could be in danger of losing his job to Chris Quinn who coach Erik Spoelstra called his starter throughout the entire preseason.
Michael Beasley, F Thursday 11/6, 12:34 AM CT
Michael Beasley had 17 points and nine rebounds as the Heat defeated Philadelphia 106-83 on Wednesday.

Our View: He showed plenty of signs of being a rookie as he shot just 7-of-17 and made four turnovers.
Shaun Livingston, G Wednesday 11/5, 7:18 AM CT
Shaun Livingston stated that doctors assured him he will regain his skills, but he is frustrated with his comeback so far, according to the Miami Herald. He said, "I'm 80 percent of where I was. Mostly it's not having the explosion to finish over defenders. Before the knee injury, I could storm by them." He is trying to bounce back after tearing three ligaments and dislocating his left kneecap in 2007.

Our View: The team wants to ease him back into the rotation slowly, and holds little to no fantasy value right now, as he is only averaging two points over 11 minutes per outing.
Dwyane Wade, G Wednesday 11/5, 9:19 PM CT
Dwyane Wade led the Heat to another victory on Wednesday night, this time while defeating the 76ers. He scored 29 points, seven rebounds, six assists, five steals and three blocks.

Our View: This qualifies as a monster fantasy game despite his four turnovers. Wade finally found his stroke. He was 9-for-15 from the field and 11-for-13 from the line. He entered the game shooting 41 percent from the field and just under 70 percent from the line.
Mario Chalmers, G Wednesday 11/5, 11:18 PM CT
Mario Chalmers continued to start at point guard as the Heat beat the 76ers 106-83. Chalmers had an incredible nine steals to go with six points, six rebounds, and four rebounds.

Our View: Nine steals? He entered the game averaging 2.0 per game. If he can maintain that average or better it, he will be worth owning.
Dwyane Wade, G Tuesday 11/4, 9:28 AM CT
Dwyane Wade noted that his low 41 percent shooting percentage is due to him forcing too many shots, according to the Sun-Sentinel. He said, "A lot of shots I shoot right now are forced, because different things are going on offensively. A lot of it is not to my strengths right now."

Our View: He should settle down and get on track, and is still posting solid fantasy numbers, as he is averaging 21.7 points, 7.7 assists, 5.3 rebounds, 2.3 steals, and 1.7 blocks over three games.
Shawn Marion, F Monday 11/3, 11:45 AM CT
It has been revealed that Shawn Marion suffered a broken nose during Saturday’s loss to Charlotte, according to the Sun-Sentinel.

Our View: He is not expected to miss any action, and will just need to wear a protective mask.
Shawn Marion, F Monday 11/3, 11:14 PM CT
Shawn Marion did not practice with the Heat on Monday, according to the Miami Herald. He broke his nose on Saturday against Charlotte. "I think once we figure out how the mask fits and how he can take contact we'll move on from there," Spoelstra said.

Our View: Marion had said earlier that he would not miss any playing time and we don't expect him to.
Shaun Livingston, G Saturday 11/1, 6:29 PM CT
Shaun Livingston was held out of Saturday's game as a precaution, according to the Miami Herald. He is trying to bounce back this season after tearing three ligaments and dislocating his left kneecap in 2007.

Our View: The team does not want to rush him and will ease him back into the mix slowly. As of right now, he holds little to no value for fantasy owners.
Michael Beasley, F Saturday 11/1, 9:05 PM CT
Michael Beasley led the Heat with 25 points in Saturday's 100-87 loss to the Bobcats. He also registered four boards, one assist, and two blocks.

Our View: The rookie bounced back well after a disappointing debut in which he only scored nine points over 27 minutes.
