Bucks sign C Elson Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) - The Milwaukee Bucks signed center
Francisco Elson on Thursday. Per team policy, terms were not disclosed.
The seven-foot, 240-pound Elson comes to Milwaukee after splitting the 2007-08
season between San Antonio and Seattle. The 32-year-old Netherlands native
averaged 3.5 points and 3.3 rebounds with the Spurs before he was dealt to the
SuperSonics in February.

The Milwaukee Bucks will head to China to play two exhibition games against the Golden State Warriors in the fall, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.
Our View:As the Olympics proved, China has a large number of NBA fans, and this is yet another step in marketing their product to the East.
Milwaukee center Andrew Bogut underwent an MRI on his ankle, and is was determined that it was just a sprain, and not a torn ligament, as he had feared, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.
Our View:Bogut will need to rest for a couple weeks before beginning rehab, but indications are that he will be fine once the NBA season gets underway.
Center Andrew Bogut was to undergo an MRI today to determine the severity of an ankle injury he suffered during Australia's 116-85 loss to the United States in the men's basketball quarterfinals at the Olympic Games on Wednesday night, according to the Syndney Morning Herald. "I think it's a ligament," Andrew Bogut said.
Our View:Seamus Dalton, the team doctor for Australia, said he did not know the severity of the injury, and we would like to hear what the American doctors have to say, but it doesn't sound good. Reports from Australian Olympica coach Brian Goorjian indicate a loud "pop" was heard, a definitive sign of major injury. We'll track the situation and keep you posted.
