Eddy Curry missed training camp and the first two preseason games due to a bacterial infection but is aiming to return to the court Tuesday night against the Sixers, according to the NY Post. He said, "I'm feeling great right now, and as of now, I feel like I could play Tuesday."
Our View:This is good news, but his role with the team remains in question. Zach Randolph and David Lee have excelled up front, and Curry still needs to learn new coach Mike D'Antoni's offense. He needs to get into playing shape as well.

Our View:The 37-year-old is fighting for a roster spot and would likely struggle to keep up in coach Mike D'Antoni's fast-paced offense.
David Lee registered 19 points and 15 boards in Friday's 109-103 preseason win over the Sixers. He also chipped in an assist, and shot 8-of-10 from the field.
Our View:Lee has improved his bid to claim the starting gig at center in New York with tonight's strong performance.
